After studying illustration at Falmouth School of Art and Design, I settled down into a career working as a freelance technical illustrator in Cornwall. Whilst alongside work and family life, I developed a passion for fine art and started to paint in watercolour selling in local galleries.

My inspiration to paint is found in the wonderful Cornish coastline and landscapes near my home, extending up to the beautiful moorlands all offering perfect views for painting.

In terms of mediums I like to use watercolour in particular but also acrylic and oil (see below).

So either working in my studio, gathering sketches and photographs or walking to soak up local scenes, I have an ever growing passion for producing my view of Cornwall.
